The Bàcaro is a typical Venetian tavern, characterised by a simple and rustic decor, in which glasses of wine (ombre) are mainly served accompanied by small samples of food (cicheti), displayed in the window on the counter.

The Bacaro Tour is a popular custom among both young and old and consists of taking a 'tour' of the 'bacari' of the sestriere or of the entire island.
